| Funding Guidelines
The principal interests of NWS Holdings Charities Foundation are
in the areas of community welfare, environmental protection, education
and health care.
Funding targets
Priorities are given to:
- Direct funding rather than funding through third parties
- Specific projects that have clear objectives rather than general
funds
- One-off programmes rather than ongoing recurrent expenditures
- Registered voluntary or charitable organizations
- Creative and unique projects which are short of funds
- Projects that can involve NWS Volunteer Alliance members
Priorities are NOT given to:
- Individuals
- Overseas organizations
- Political projects
- Compliment advertising
Application Method
If requested funding amount does not exceed HK$30,000, please complete
and submit an application form. If requested funding amount exceeds HK$30,000,
a detailed proposal has to be submitted together with the application
form (pdf
format). The proposal should include:
- A description of the project
- A timeline of the project
- A comprehensive budget with unit cost on expense items
- Details of funding already obtained or other sources of funding
already approached
- The latest report and audited accounts of the applying
organization
- First time applicants to provide an organizational chart
Please submit your application at least three months prior to the activity. Applications can be submitted throughout the year. The result is normally available within two months upon receipt of complete information relating to the application.
