The principal interests of NWS Holdings Charities Foundation are in the areas of community welfare, environmental protection, education and health care.

Funding targets

Priorities are given to:

• Direct funding rather than funding through third parties
• Specific projects that have clear objectives rather than general funds
• One-off programmes rather than ongoing recurrent expenditures
• Registered voluntary or charitable organizations
• Creative and unique projects which are short of funds
• Projects that can involve NWS Volunteer Alliance members
  

Priorities are NOT given to:

• Individuals
• Overseas organizations
• Political projects
• Compliment advertising

Application Method

If requested funding amount does not exceed HK$30,000, please complete and submit an application form. If requested funding amount exceeds HK$30,000, a detailed proposal has to be submitted together with the application form (pdf format). The proposal should include:

• A description of the project
• A timeline of the project
• A comprehensive budget with unit cost on expense items
• Details of funding already obtained or other sources of funding already approached
• The latest report and audited accounts of the applying organization
• First time applicants to provide an organizational chart
